ABOUT PETER
Peter Burton is a recording artist, songwriter, and worship leader driven to carry the love of Jesus to the world by creating powerful, hope-filled music that points people to Christ. Burton’s musical journey has been years in the making, as he built a strong foundation performing, writing, and collaborating with many Christian artists over the last decade. Stepping out as a solo artist, he delivers both authenticity and passion with his sound, blending his driven, energetic personality with his deep heart for worship. Burton calls California home, where he lives with his wife and two daughters as he continues to serve as a worship pastor for Bayside Church alongside his new season as an artist. Now carving his own path, Peter is gaining momentum and recognition as a solo artist, translating years of experience into a compelling and successful new chapter.
Burton’s debut single, “Where Would I Be” written by Burton, AJ Pruis, and Matt Armstrong, has already broken into the Top 5 on Christian radio, and he was also recently named one of Pandora’s Top 10 Artists to Watch in 2026. He recently signed with Integrity Music Group, Story House Collective, and WME for representation.
Burton’s story isn’t just about industry milestones; it’s about overcoming the very fears that once threatened to silence him. For years, he quietly battled anxiety, even while leading worship and serving in ministry. The tension of standing in front of crowds while internally wrestling with doubt and panic became part of his hidden journey. Instead of stepping away from his calling, Peter leaned deeper into his faith, learning to anchor himself in Scripture, prayer, and community. That personal breakthrough now shapes his songwriting — honest, vulnerable, and unafraid to acknowledge weakness while pointing to strength found in Christ. His testimony of overcoming anxiety has become one of the most meaningful parts of his ministry, resonating deeply with listeners navigating their own struggles.
On the road, Peter has begun connecting with audiences across the country. He recently opened for Matthew West, introducing listeners to his heartfelt songwriting and disarming stage presence. Currently, Peter has joined Anne Wilson on her Spring STARS Tour that started on March 12th.
What distinguishes Peter Burton most is his posture: he isn’t approaching music as a platform to build, but as a calling to steward. Years in the industry have given him perspective, patience, and a clear sense of purpose. Now, as a solo artist, he’s creating music that feels both deeply personal and universally meaningful — songs born from worship but designed for real life.
Peter Burton isn’t just emerging; he’s arriving with clarity, conviction, and a story still unfolding.
